Steve has the heart of a teacher. He graduated from college as a school teacher. He then ran outdoor adventure education programs and worked as an executive director of YMCA camps for 25 years. While applying Dave Ramsey’s principles to his own family finances and, at the same time, working closely with so many young adults and families who did not exercise sound financial practices, Steve decided to apply his heart for teaching and desire to help families toward financial planning.
Just like paddling in the wilderness or climbing a mountain, investing is all about proper planning. The best route is to learn the fundamentals and above all, develop a map to get to where you are going. Steve is now applying all of his experience to help guide you to your goals.
Steve believes that education and planning are vital in achieving financial goals, whether it is saving for college, paying off a house, or preparing for retirement. Steve is fully licensed with his Series 65 Securities License. He currently lives on Lake Superior in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula with his wife and four sons. They are pleased to be on Baby Steps 4 and 5, owning their home in full. In his free time, Steve likes to go paddling. hiking, fishing, and sailing with his family.
