Ben Crist

After getting his Finance Degree from Belmont University in Nashville – Ben Crist spent 10 years in full time ministry – touring and working at various churches as a worship leader with his band “The Glorious Unseen”. After that season, he went into business helping people in the personal finance space. He began working in insurance and retirement plans, then spent 3 years at Ramsey Solutions as a part of Dave Ramseys’ Financial Coaching team. He then spent some time at Churchill Mortgage as a loan officer, and a couple years in timeshare cancellation.

Ben discovered Dave Ramsey during college, and has worked the baby steps all the way through – first paying off all student loans, then saving a full emergency fund, putting 20% down on a house (and then paying it off), and saving aggressively for retirement. The baby steps work!

Currently, Ben works with clients in all steps of the Ramsey baby steps, helping people work towards financial freedom. He lives with his wife and 2 boys in Brentwood, TN – just south of Nashville and 15 min from Ramsey headquarters. Schedule a call and he would love to connect!
