C.S. Lewis said, “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.”
I love that quote because it applies to so many things in life, but especially to money. Maybe you wish you had started saving sooner, made different decisions, learned more about investing, or maybe you just need help managing the investments you’ve already accumulated. Wherever you are today, you can still make changes that can impact your future in a positive way.

My husband and I have been on this journey ourselves. We got tired of watching our income disappear into student loans and consumer debt, so we decided we needed to do something different. The Total Money Makeover really opened our eyes to what was possible, and we started walking through the Baby Steps together. We became gazelle intense about getting out of debt and changing the way we handled money. Over time, those decisions gave us opportunities we wouldn’t have otherwise had.
When I graduated from Texas A&M in 2011 with a degree in Chemical Engineering, I thought I would work in industry for my entire career. I figured life would look something like: get up, go to work, pay taxes, wash, and repeat until retirement. But because of the financial choices we made, I wasn’t stuck in that cycle. I was blessed with the opportunity to leave my career and stay home with our two children during their earliest years. Now it’s given me the freedom to take what I’ve learned about financial advising and pass it on to you.
